A large-scale hospital conceived not only as a medical infrastructure, but also as a piece of the city.

Patios, terraces and green roofs introduce light, orientation and spaces for rest within the hospital.

The hospital is envisioned as a small city, where care, hospitalization, emergency care, teaching, research, logistics, and services coexist within a common structure. The architecture seeks to make this complexity legible through a clear organization of spaces, pathways, and communication hubs.

A large perimeter pergola protects the building and creates a unified image facing the city.

The project is conceived as a flexible structure, prepared to grow and adapt over time.

In addition to the technical and functional scale of the program, the project introduces a second scale closer to the user: patios, terraces, double heights, vegetation, and protected spaces from the sun. The canopy that surrounds the lower plants summarizes this strategy, simultaneously functioning as a climatic filter, an intermediate space, and an element of architectural identity.
