Pardo 200 in Lima arouses international interest and features in a report in the newspaper Clarín

The project Pardo 200, in Lima's Miraflores district has attracted international media attention. The Argentinian newspaper Clarín, through its architecture section ARQ Clarín, has recently published a report dedicated to the resort's new hotel, focusing on its architectural proposal and contemporary reinterpretation of Andean cultural references.

The article highlights how the project proposes a vibrant and contemporary architecture, The building is able to dialogue with the cultural context of Peru without resorting to literal gestures. Through the use of colour, materiality and volumetric composition, the building offers a contemporary look, generating its own architectural identity within the urban fabric of Lima.

Located in one of the most dynamic areas of the city, Miraflores, Pardo 200 is conceived as a mixed-use building which integrates hotel, offices, retail and catering in a complex urban piece open to the city. As the building gains in height, its volume is progressively transformed into a two towers, This strategy frees up views, introduces greater visual permeability and adds dynamism to the surrounding skyline.

Beyond its programmatic status, the project seeks to to establish an active relationship between architecture, city and contemporary culture., It has been incorporated into one of Lima's most intense urban enclaves and has contributed to redefining its built landscape.

The project has been made possible thanks to the collaboration between different international teams, including Capella Garcia Architecture, Paul Baruch y Ojeda AS.
