The project proposes a set of architectural pieces with a hybrid use that combines commercial spaces on the ground floor, a hotel, residences and offices. The design seeks to consolidate an active and permeable urban block, in dialogue with the existing fabric and the scale of the city. The volumetry is fragmented into several buildings with their own identity, but connected to each other, allowing a fluid transition between the different functions and favouring the integration of the project in its immediate context.
The proposal is for a contemporary language that interprets local tradition through broken roofs, modulated openings and the use of sober materials. The façades, treated with variations in colour and texture, contribute to diversify the image of the complex and reinforce its urban presence. The project not only resolves the density and the mixed programme, but also incorporates public and semi-public spaces that encourage social life, generating a dynamic and multifunctional area in the heart of Deggendorf.
