A restricted competition that we had the pleasure to carry out in partnership with Mecanoo from the Netherlands, Arquitectura Agronomia from Barcelona and Citythinking from Seville.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"720\" src=\"https:\/\/bakpakarchitects.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/07_Blog_ResearchCenter-1024x720.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1627\" srcset=\"https:\/\/bakpakarchitects.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/07_Blog_ResearchCenter-1024x720.webp 1024w, https:\/\/bakpakarchitects.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/07_Blog_ResearchCenter-300x211.webp 300w, https:\/\/bakpakarchitects.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/07_Blog_ResearchCenter-768x540.webp 768w, https:\/\/bakpakarchitects.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/07_Blog_ResearchCenter.webp 1152w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The design seeks to establish an urban connection between the surrounding public and private spaces, coherently integrating the existing volumes, Magallanes Park and the commercial and financial centre of the Pelli Tower. The building, designed with a timber structure, is organised around a landscaped courtyard from which the indoor climate is regulated by controlling radiation and ventilation.
