Today May 25, 2021 we are very happy because we have received the news that the Viljandi Hospital Foundation, Riigi Kinnisvara AS and OÜ Fund Ehitus will sign the construction contract for the Viljandi County Hospital and Health Center (Estonia).
It is a project that was carried out with the Planho Consutores + DAGOpen offices and for which we won the first prize in the international competition.
Construction is expected to start in June this year and be completed by 2023. It is an innovative healthcare complex with a net area of 23,000 m2 and a budget of € 47.2 million.
According to Priit Tampere, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Viljandi Hospital Foundation: “The complex is an important building in many ways… it is the first hospital building built from scratch in the newly independent Republic of Estonia…”.
