Oceanika at ExpoConstruye: building better, faster and with a smaller footprint

Oceanika continues to arouse great interest and we are constantly presenting this iconic project at different professional conferences and congresses. The last one was the 15 October, when our founding partner Bakpak José María González Chamorro participated in the Innovation Corner of EXPOCONSTRUYE 2025 (Cádiz) to present Oceanikaa project developed together with EOVASTUDIO which exemplifies how industrialisation, BIM coordination and structural timber can accelerate timescales, reduce footprint and raise perceived quality.

The session brought together key actors in the value chain: Luis Acacio (Nuovit Homes), Juan Carlos (Herysan), Íñigo Blanco (Egoin) y Eduardo Cárave (EOSS - Evolution Offsite System). Together we will approach the project from the system decision and component standardisation to assembly logistics and tolerance control, demonstrating a more efficient, sustainable and collaborative way of building.

Under the heading "Oceanika, a success story of industrianised construction".José María González Chamorro explained the details that make this project a milestone in terms of sustainability and industrialisation, proposing a new way of facing contemporary architectural challenges.
