Success of the A+I Conference at which we presented Oceanika

Last week, the A+I Architecture and Engineering Conference was held, an event organised and sponsored by Airzone together with Estudio Seguí. The meeting focused on construction as an integral work between architects and engineers, generating a space for reflection and dialogue on the challenges and opportunities facing our sector.

José María González Chamorro, founding partner of Bakpak, was in charge of representing the studio to present this project of which we are very proud and which aroused great interest at the event. Oceánikadesigned together with EOVA Studio and the promoter Nuovit Homesis part of the Venice Architecture Biennale 2025 for its use of FSC-certified wood, as a symbol of an architecture that regenerates, connects with the territory and is committed to the decarbonisation of the planet.

The building is entirely industrialised in wood, with all its structure and partitions manufactured and assembled by the company. Egoin, combining precision, efficiency and environmental awareness.

The presentation also included the participation of Jesús Uriol Chavarriga, from Acustics Ambientand Maria Salas of NOMADgardens.

The event was attended by leading studios and reference projects:

• Oceanika Hotel, presented by Bakpak Architects.
• San Mamés Stadium, with IDOM Consulting, Engineering, Architecture.
• City of Justice in Cordoba, by Mecanoo and Ayesa.
• Salón de Reinos del Museo del Prado, with Foster + Partners, Rubio Arquitectura and Sacyr.

A programme designed for the exchange of ideas and experiences that drive innovation in contemporary construction.

Under the slogan "Building by Innovating", this meeting is configured as a point of reference for engineering and architecture professionals, promoting collaboration from the initial design phase to construction execution, with special attention to energy efficiency, environmental quality and integrated automation.
