Bakpak will participate in the A+I Conference together with international studios such as Foster and Mecanoo.

Next Thursday 18 September, Bakpak will have the honour of participating in the a+1 Days, A+I Conference (Architecture + Engineering)The event is a high-level forum that promotes innovation in construction processes and integrates architectural and engineering visions in a joint dialogue, bringing together some of the most influential offices on the international scene.
In this edition, the event will be attended by world-renowned studios such as Foster + Partners, Mecanoo e Idomtogether with Bakpak, consolidating a space for dialogue in which the challenges and opportunities of architecture and engineering in a changing global context will be addressed.
José María González Chamorro, founding partner of Bakpak, will present the project. Oceánikadesigned together with EOVA Studio, which has earned it a place in the Venice Architecture Biennale 2025 for its use of FSC-certified wood, as a symbol of an architecture that regenerates, connects with the territory and is committed to the decarbonisation of the planet.
The building is entirely industrialised in wood, with all its structure and partitions manufactured and assembled by Egoin, combining precision, efficiency and environmental awareness.
Under the slogan "Building by InnovatingThis meeting is configured as a point of reference for engineering and architecture professionals, promoting collaboration from the initial design phase to construction execution, with special attention to energy efficiency, environmental quality and integrated automation.
Alongside Bakpak will be Jesús Uriol of Acustics Ambient y Maria Salas Nomadgarden to give more details about Oceánica in this event organised by Airzone and Estudio Segui.
The study Foster + Partners will participate in the project for the refurbishment of the Salón de Reinos of the Prado Museum, directed by Carlos Rubio, Miguel Ángel Díez de Yela and the engineering department of Foster + Partners.
Mecanoo for its partwill be present with the exhibition of the City of Justice project in Cordoba, by the hand of Nuno Fontarraarchitect partner of Mecanoo.
