The building is not constructed: it is emptied, carved, adapted.

Urban geometry outside, ceramic fluidity inside.

The project sculpts the building mass as if it were clay, generating a surprising interior that turns the building into a new urban and cultural landmark. The programme combines commercial, hotel and residential uses, topped off by a social club with a restaurant and panoramic terraces.

The pottery tradition reinterpreted in a contemporary key.

The central void sculpts a new public space for the city, revolving around its history.

In the historic heart of the city, the new Patio de la Cerámica recovers the essence of the old local craft fair and projects it into the future. The intervention turns a memory into a living space, fusing tradition and contemporaneity in a building that dialogues with the urban fabric and opens up a new public space to the city.

The art of modelling the city. Architecture as a piece of pottery: moulded, hollowed out, open to the public and the collective.

The compact composition of the exterior volume contrasts with the smoothness and fluidity of the large interior courtyard. Inspired by the potter's wheel, this conical and rounded void becomes a nucleus of light, ventilation and encounter, connecting directly with the Old Market and the Market Square through an open and generous access.

A contemporary cut in historical memory. The building is implanted as a clear gesture that reveals the value of the intangible: the lost heritage.
