Construction contract for the new Viljandi Hospital and health centre signed

Today, 25 May 2021, we are very happy because we have received the news that Viljandi Hospital Foundation, Riigi Kinnisvara AS and OÜ Fund Ehitus will sign the contract for the construction of Viljandi County Hospital and Health Centre (Estonia).

This is a project developed together with the offices Planho Consultores + DAGOpen, for which we won first prize in the international competition.

Construction is scheduled to begin in June this year and to be completed in 2023. It will be an innovative healthcare complex with a floor area of 23,000 m² and a budget of 47.2 million euros.

According to Priit Tampere, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Viljandi Hospital Foundation: "The complex is an important building in many ways... it is the first hospital built from scratch in the newly independent Republic of Estonia...".
